Fusing and Slumping Taster

 

These classes are an introduction to kiln formed glass.  They run for 3 1/2 hours.  A large plate, small plate, and as many sun catchers or jewelry as you have time for, can be created needing no special skill, and using only mosaic cutters.  You provide 6-10 friends or family, some nibbles to share if you wish, and we provide everything else.

 

The classes include all glass, materials and 2 kiln firings per piece at a total of $150 per person.  All bases for the plates and jewellery are pre cut for you and transparent coloured glass is supplied in strips for ease of cutting.  It is a fun, relaxing class and after a week or so, depending upon the amount of pieces to fire, your creations are ready to collect from the studio to show family and friends.  You'll notice from the photos the kiln is a wizard at softening up the edges and making each piece stunning!

 

Hens Nights, Team building sessions and special birthdays, we've also had family reunions, where you can spend time with family and friends in a fun and creative environment.  We serve tea and coffee throughout the session.
